	Little known facts about Dad...</p>
<p>
	Dad played baseball in high school as a pitcher. His secret pitch was a &quot;screwball&quot; that traveled like a corkscrew.&nbsp; It was almost impossible to hit.&nbsp; After high school he was given an opportunity to try out for a semi-pro team.&nbsp; He told me he was so excited, and who knows maybe one day he could play for his favorite team in the pro&#39;s the Brooklyn Dodgers.&nbsp; His 1st day pitching at try outs they not only hit every pitch he threw, most of them were home runs.&nbsp; That ended his baseball dream.&nbsp; But he was still happy and still loved baseball.</p>
<p>
	The origin of how he became known as the &quot;Outlaw.&quot;&nbsp; Drafted into the Army during the Korean War. After basic training his Sgt. noticed that he was the only soldier with a mustache and called him out in front of everyone.&nbsp; &nbsp;The Sgt being of spanish decent, had trouble pronouncing his name Whitelaw.&nbsp; He looked at his name tag and called my dad &quot;Blanco Ley.&quot;&nbsp; Which is the words &quot;white&quot; and &quot;law&quot; in spanish.&nbsp; With most everyone in his unit not speaking spanish, the Sgt said, I will just call you Outlaw instead. They promoted him in rank, said he was now in charge of his unit and to shave off that mustache now!</p>
