What is the history of this 9/11 Memorial?
In 2011, Curlew Hills in partnership  with the Palm Harbor Fire Department created the 9/11 Memorial at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens. A 150-pound twisted steel beam, which was once part of the World Trade Center Towers, is the focal point of this one-of-a-kind monument and is an emotional link to those lost in the tragic terrorist attacks.  A volunteer committee is comprised of active and retired first responders, area business leaders and management from Curlew Hills.  The committee meets all year to put together this important community event.
